- @cypherpunk The tweet is misleading. Monero is fully encrypted by default: ring signatures, stealth addresses + RingCT with Pedersen commitments that actually hide the amounts. (Zcash added Pedersen commitments 2 years after Monero pioneered them.) Zcash privacy is optional
