I've already used Cross Pay to pay from shielded ZEC to $OTHER_CHAIN often, and love it. If it takes me that long for the other shoe to drop (send _and_ receive), the market may still not get it, or else I'm behind the market.
A non-techie friend offered to pay me in crypto. No ZEC, they only have $TRANSPARENT_CHAIN… Eww... I don't want to set up a $TC wallet, deal with the privacy hygiene! Then I remembered let's me give them a $TC address when ends up in my shielded ZEC stash. Killer!
