In fact this exploit highlights one of the things I like about Zcash, their dual script model T-addresses are basically legacy Bitcoin addresses No complex ZK math or circuits, just basic P2PKH/P2SH You have to explicitly opt-in for the more experimental shielding stuff

@stutxo If you deposit into a Zcash shielded pool, and the ZEC backing it gets drained tomorrow, you still have the same note. Because your nullifier still exists and no one else saw it. Nothing has changed. What Zcash is doing to the concept of asset, few understand.
